For those of you who are not familiar with Veronica Evans, she is a fascinating character. She attends Spokane Falls Community College and is in the Photography program. During your first encounter with Ms. Evans, she can seem very straight forward and direct, but loving nonetheless (when you get to know her). She is an intensely passionate person and a woman with a purpose. Driven is an understatement for the many set goals she strives to accomplish in her life.
When asked to be the subject for a photo shoot, there is no hesitation, she jumps right in with no reservations. Her photographer, Melissa Howe, sets up the studio and begins envisioning the fashion shot to come.
Meanwhile, Veronica is in the dressing room transforming into a sophisticated lady, different from her normal “shoot from the hip” persona. For a brief moment, she convinces us all that there could possibility be a more refined Veronica......
But, it just wouldn’t be her style. Veronica marches to a the beat of her own drum, and as her friend, I wouldn’t tell her to change for anything. The photography program at school would not be the same without her zealousness.
Whether she is a “true” lady or not, we all love her just the same, well, most of us at least. Maybe, just maybe there’s hope for her yet!
